Clowin' Around With Santa...Holiday Season Starts With Santa's Visit To Manufacturer's Celebration
The 3-Dimensional Services Group got its 2004 holiday season underway by hosting the 4th annual ‘Breakfast with Santa’ celebration Saturday, December 4 at the firm’s headquarters in Rochester Hills, MI. Attending were over 130 children of the company’s 284 employees. Besides breakfast, children were able to visit a petting zoo, ride ponies—all set up on the company’s grounds—make holiday crafts and of course, visit with Santa. The decorations the children made will be displayed at the company’s three facilities throughout the holidays.
Keith Chene, chief financial officer, is very active in planning the event. He and many of the staff dressed as clowns to add an even more festive air to the celebration. According to Chene, “This time of year it’s all about the kids, and we’re glad that we can do something special for our employees and their families. The clown costumes and circus theme, just added to the fun for kids and grown ups alike.”
Alan Peterson, vice president, expressed his personal pleasure and that of the organization. “Seeing the smiles on the children,” Peterson said, “is a great feeling that we all treasure. The ‘Breakfast with Santa’ is a highlight of our holiday season and a special way of saying thanks to our employees for their dedication and effort throughout the year, and to recognize every member of the 3-Dimensional Services family.”
The 3-Dimensional Group consists of Urgent Plastic Services, Urgent Design & Manufacturing, and 3-Dimensional Services. The three companies specialize in the design, engineering, and rapid build of prototype parts for industries and manufacturers worldwide.
